Memorial Day Weekend is here and both movies might underwhelm. The X-Men franchise is one of the more frontloaded of superhero franchises. The ones that have opened MDW have typically done half their total business over the 4-day. Alice might not even do half what the original did. It's one of those movies that has plummeted in what little appreciation it had. Neighbors 2 and Nice Guys both did disappointing numbers last weekend. Love and Friendship will expand to a few hundred theaters which will be enough to get it in the top 10. I'm not sure how big of an expansion The Lobster will be getting, but that is doing very well so far.
