Box: Candy Crush Movie is coming out in 2019, right?

1. The Angry Birds Movie - $39m / $39m / $135m
2. Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising - $35m / $35m / $100m
3. Captain America: Civil War - $33.5m / $350m / $435m
4. The Nice Guys - $16m / $16m / $60m
5. Money Monster - $8.5m / $29m / $50m
6. The Jungle Book - $8m / $325m / $345m
7. The Darkness - $2m / $8m / $12m
8. Zootopia - $1.5m / $334m / $337m
**Mother's Day - $1.5m / $32m / $35m

Three openers, and they are all likely to do decent numbers. Angry Birds might be coming a few years too late, but it should still do solid numbers. Neighbors will do about 2/3 of the original, which should be fine. I doubt it cost much. The Nice Guys should be a sleeper, but probably has too much competition from larger films to break out. Plus, it's after the same audience as a few other films out/coming out. However, its marketing has been solid so there's still a lot of potential. In limited release last week, The Lobster had the highest PTA of the year and Love and Friendship did very well, too.
