This year I'm going to emphasize 1996 & 2001, two truly great years. The former is one of the best for American indies ever and there's quite a few I missed. Right now I've seen 60 Best Picture winners overall (61 if One Battle After Another or Sinners takes it in 2.5 months), so I'm trying to fill in as many blindspots for that as well.
