Summer Box Office: When Leo Comes in My Dreams

Inception is tracking lower than expected, but the reviews should allow Leo and Marion to flash their sexy legs for the rest of the season. After this and Salt, I'm only certain of one other movie crossing $100 million for the rest of the summer (Eat Pray Love.) While some films look like they will do modest business, there doesn't seem to be any blockbusters left. Also opening: the terribly reviewed Sorcerer's Apprentice, which will be forgotten in three weeks. And something called Standing Ovation, which I'm guessing is one of those awful religious-themed movies that open every now and again, randomly pulling in solid theatre averages.

1. Inception - $65m / $65m / $260m
2. Despicable Me - $32m / $116m / $185m
3. The Sorcerer's Apprentice - $20m / $28m / $66m
4. Eclipse - $16m / $267m / $302m
5. Toy Story 3 - $12.5m / $362m / $400m
6. Predators - $10m / $44m / $65m
7. Grown Ups - $8.5m / $127m / $146m
8. The Last Airbender - $7.5m / $114.5m / $130m
9. Knight and Day - $4m / $69m / $77m
10. Standing Overation - $2.5m / $2.5m / $9m
