I went 15/24. I think?

The Academy will never not be two steps forward, one step back. Or one step forward, two steps back.

I genuinely feel bad for Glenn Close, even if Olivia Colman may be the most delightful person in history. Green Book winning Picture and Bohemian Rhapsody winning the most Oscars really is the shit-perfect ending to this shitshow of an award season.

BUT...

The show was actually pretty good! I'm surprised. I knew the no-host thing would work and it looks like from the reactions I'm seeing people agreed. Very memorable speeches from just about everyone, including the tech/shorts people who seemed so overjoyed. And so many standing ovations. That crowd got a workout. As always, be back tomorrow with full reaction.

AND THAT SHALLOW PERFORMANCE!!! SCORCHING HOT!!!!!

I'm pregnant.
