Watch the Golden Globes!

The Golden Globes air on NBC Sunday January 8th at 8PM Eastern. An hour long red carpet special will air on the same network beginning at 7PM. E!'s coverage begins at 4PM Eastern, and they will also have a post-show following the awards.

Jimmy Fallon will make his debut as host. Fallon did a good job with the Emmy's back in 2010, but the Globes don't seem like a good match for him. Ricky Gervais infamously hosted four times, while Tina Fey and Amy Poehler famously co-hosted three times.

Scheduled to present are Ben Affleck, Casey Affleck, Drew Barrymore, Kristen Bell, Annette Bening, Matt Bomer, Pierce Brosnan, Naomi Campbell, Steve Carell, Jessica Chastain, Pryanka Chopra, Matt Damon, Viola Davis, Laura Dern, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Foster, Gal Gadot, Cuba Gooding Jr, Hugh Grant, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jon Hamm, Goldie Hawn, Chris Hemsworth, Felicity Jones, Michael Keaton, Anna Kendrick, Nicole Kidman, Brie Larson, John Legend, Diego Luna, Sienna Miller, Mandy Moore, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Timothy Olyphant, Dev Patel, Chris Pine, Sunny Puwar, Eddie Redmayne, Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Saldana, Amy Schumer, Sylvester Stallone, Sting, Emma Stone, Justin Theroux, Carrie Underwood, Vince Vaughn, Milo Ventimiglia, Sofia Vergara, Carl Weathers, Kristen Wiig and Reese Witherspoon.

Meryl Streep will be receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award. Streep is known for her great speeches, so that should be a great moment.

As usual with this show, expect an assorted variety of fun new GIFs to pop up from the show. If any award show produces GIFs, it's this one.

I might liveblog the red carpet. I think I've done it many times before, so might as well.
