Trailers: "Wonder Woman", "Justice League", "Kong: Skull Island", "Blair Witch"

Comic Con bringing us the exclusives.

First up is Wonder Woman. Looks quite good. Remember when we were all critical of Gal Gadot getting this part but she ended up being the most acclaimed thing about Batman Vs. Superman? Oh, and just in case you were doubtful of Hollywood's treatment of women directors, know that this is Patty Jenkin's first film in 14 years after her debut film won Charlize Theron an Oscar.

Next up is Justice League. Which looks okay. Ezra Miller is the best part of it.

Last out Warner's big action tentpoles, here is Kong: Skull Island. This one has a great cast, and the cinematography looks dazzling. I'm a bit surprised to see some negative reaction to it, as I think it looks pretty fun.

Lastly, here is the surprise trailer for Blair Witch. This is a massive surprise because...

Well, watch the trailer and then see below.

A few months ago, Lionsgate released a trailer for a movie called The Woods which looked very similar to The Blair Witch Project. Turns out The Woods is actually the new Blair Witch movie and it was a big secret (despite the movie already being screened for some members of the press who I'm guessing had to sign NDAs). It's pretty great that this is the second "surprise sequel" of the year to be originally announced as another film altogether. (The other, of course, was 10 Cloverfield Lane.)

Here's the trailer for The Woods which debuted back in May. (Lionsgate has since added the Blair Witch connection in the title of the video.)
