2. The Purge: Election Year - $28m / $28m / $65m
3. The Legend of Tarzan - $26m / $26m / $72m
4. The BFG - $22m / $22m / $75m
5. Independence Day: Resurgence - $15.5m / $74m / $106m
6. Central Intelligence - $9.5m / $89.5m / $110m
7. The Shallows - $8m / $35m / $55m
8. Free State of Jones - $4m / $15.5m / $25m
9. The Conjuring 2 - $3.5m / $95.5m / $104m
10. Now You See Me 2 - $2.5m / $58.5m / $64m

Dory threepeats, as a trio of openers all look to do about the same amount of business. The Purge: Election Year has had a slick marketing campaign and a timely storyline. People have a tendency to avoid political movies at all costs, but putting some satire into a B-movie is the way to go. Tarzan is getting panned by critics and will probably be the biggest bomb of the summer, at least to a cost-gross ratio. Independence Day: Resurgence is giving it a run for the money, though. The BFG also has a massive budget, but will probably do enough worldwide to cover it. Free State of Jones bombed last weekened, while The Shallows is doing quite well.

ETA: Swiss Army Man expands to just under 700 theaters. It will probably make the top 10 with that number. I'll predict $3m.
