Watching E! for an hour, then switching to preshow. They have Brad Goresky and no George anymore. Bleh. Why isn't Kathy there? And was I understanding it correctly that they were filming part of the Entourage movie on the red carpet?
Okay, I'm seeing Rosamund Pike pics online. I kind of like it, but it looks ill-fitted. It's pretty daring considering she just gave birth however many weeks ago. Hair and makeup are great, though. I'm not sure what to expect from her this season. It looks fine from the side, but from the front it's very triangle-y.
Now, E! is talking about Kathy! Good. I miss her? Why is she not on TV anymore? E! is doing predictions for Best Dressed. Emma Stone, Keira Knightley, Lupita Nyong'o and Amal Clooney are their predictions. Can't disagree. Keira's previous Globe dress was fantastic. Gulianna's obsession with all things Clooney is getting a little tired.
Eddie Redmayne is on the red carpet! He has pretty adventurous taste for a man. Good on him! Rosamund's dress is even worse in motion. Yikes. She's really flabbergasted. Amy Adams and Gina Rodriguez arrive. Both look good from the neck up. Eddie is on E! with Rosamund now. LOL I just realized Rosamund sounds exactly like a female Hugh Grant.
Lana Del Rey's look is very cheap. Jeez. Amy is currently being interviewed NBC. AWKWARD! Liev and Naomi! E! has Bill Hader who looks very good! Michelle Monaghan looks bland. Everyone looks rather bland so far. Seth Meyers arrives. Lena Dunham with Andrew Rannells. He's cute.
Quvenzhane looks really cute. E! has Naomi and Liev. Naomi's necklace is a snake and is kinda cool. I like Amy Adams' look, but it's just so safe. Ethan Hawke arrives. An eternal crush? Still looks great. Gina Rodriguez being interviewed. Shoes are amazing, but dress is BLAND! Matt Bomer arrives looking yummy as always. Jack Black is here. Giving a big hug to Emily Blunt! Amy said when being interviewed she's rooting for her friend. Amy is TEAM EMILY! Hmm kinda liking Laura Prepon's dress. And Lorde looks very Lorde-y. Game of Thrones's Sophie Turner looks fantastic! Ethan seems coked up. Kevin Spacey is with Kate Mara. LOL. She looks good, I like her hair. LOL Ethan just winked at Kate. Spacey looks significantly older than usual. Julia Louis-Dreyfus looks nice. Christine Baranski looks okay. Everyone looks like they're going to a D-list award show and not the Globes. Chastain arrived. Her hair and makeup and earrings look amazeballs. Patricia Arquette looks almost exactly as expected. I'm seeing Emily Blunt and thinking she succeeded at doing what Rosamund was trying to. Like Ellie Kemper's dress.
OMG Just saw most of Chastain's dress and LOVE IT. AND DAKOTA JOHNSON LOOKS KINDA FANTASTIC! Bravo to her. Matt Bomer looks like a Ken doll. Lena and Andrew being interviewed, with Tina and Amy arriving behind them. Tina's dress is kind of awesome. Amy looks like something Helen Mirren would wear, but they look great otherwise. "50 costume changes and 10 emotional changes". Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger always look cute together. He got so hot, he was always hot but the years have treated him well. Allison Williams looks amazeballs. Julianne Moore is wearing something similar to Dakota but is thready and foofy at the bottom. Katherine Heigl arrives. If anyone cares? Oh MAN I LOVE CHASTAIN's DRESS! That might be BEST DRESSED???!? Jessica's dog is named Chaplin, of course. I like Sienna Miller's dress. She has beach hair though.
On to official coverage! Who of course has George and Amal first. She looks good. They cut to John and Emily, who unlike the Clooney's, have a personality. Lena Dunham is talking to Felicity Jones int he background. Kate Beckinsale looks great, I just realized looking back she was my best dressed at the Globes last yar. Reese Witherspoon looking good. Very simple and elegant. Jake and Maggie!!!! Jake looks goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. Is he seems really out of out though. And THIN! Beef up, Jake. Maggie said she's sick of people calling Jake creepy in his movie, but then said he was like a "creepy clown" in it. Nice. Edward Norton, who reminds me of an elementary school princiPAL. Emma Stone looks gorgeous. Charming as ever. So funny. Can the media realize she's twice as charming as JLaw. (I love me some JLaw, but Emma is just the best.) OMG WHAT THE FUCK IS KEIRA WEARING!?!?!?!?! Felicity Jones looks bland as fuck. Perfect encapsulation of the evening so far.

Bill Murray is there and seems to have no idea what is happening. Nice. Claire Danes is wearing something, uh, interesting. Looks like a blanket. Matt just said Amy is nominated. Uh, Matt? Get your facts straight. Haven't seen Anna & Chris yet. :-( Haven't seen Meryl, Viola, Aniston and a few others. GOOP, Kate Hudson. Kerry Washington looks terrible. Salma Hayek looks good. Anna Kendrick looks really white. Kevin and Kare are being interviewed by Matt. I really hope they aren't trying to sell themselves as a couple. Channing Tatum looks orange. Hot, but orange. LOL Matthew McConaughey apparently is homeless. Not feeling Taylor Schilling's dress. I hate these triangle-shaped dresses?
Cumberbatch! Aniston! Her hair is a little too simple. OMG J-LO!?!?!? WTF. Emma Stone's dress is apparently not a dress, but a jumpsuit. Michael Keaton arrives. Not sure what to make of Kate Hudson's. Her nose looks different? LOL MATT IS INTERVIEWING AMY. SHE IS SHOOTING HIM LASERS WITH HER EYES. I LIVE FOR THIS!!!!!
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart. LMAO JLD was like "It's still called Veep" after Natalie/Savanna/Whatever said "It should be called Prez." EWWW I don't like Amal's dress after seeing the whole thing. Those gloves, it looks very old school beauty pageant. Like Viola Davis. I always love hearing her talk. Katie Holmes looks really bland. Why is she there? LOL What is with Melissa McCarthy's dress? Risky for her. Not liking Lupita's look. The bottom is perfect. Anna Faris and Chris Pratt look like so much fun and actually seem genuinely in love. A rarity on these things!
