Box: Nothing Says Summer Movie Fun Like a Girl In a Coma

1. If I Stay - $16m / $16m / $42m
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - $15.5m / $145m / $185m
3. Guardians of the Galaxy - $15m / $249.5m / $290m
4. Sin City: A Dame To Kill For - $14m / $14m / $38m
5. When the Game Stands Tall - $11m / $11m / $50m
6. Let's Be Cops - $9m / $44m / $68m
7. The Expendables 3 - $7.5m / $29m / $46m
8. The Giver - $6.5m / $24m / $40m
9. Hundred Foot Journey - $5m / $32m / $50m
10. Into the Storm - $4m / $38.5m / $46m

I have no idea what to do with these three.  I think they'll all pass $10m, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't.  If I Stay has a lot of social media activity, and it's the exact type of film that usually over-performs.  Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is coming about 6-7 years too late.  When the Game Stands Tall is being marketed heavily towards Christian audiences, and we know how that strong that audience has been this year.  I fully expect Guardians of the Galaxy to take back the #1 position next weekend, and will probably repeat the following weekend.  That September 5th weekend is going to be a record breaker, and not in a good way.
