Oscars Producers Zadan and Meron get a third go-round

Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will produce the Oscars for a third time.  The announcement of them getting a second chance last year elicited this blog post.  This announcement gets this response:

They did a much better job this year.  There's obviously some kinks that need ironed out, such as dropping their belief that the show have a "theme" and the too-random musical tributes.  While I'm not overly enthusiastic about their rehiring, I'm not dreading it.  So....that's good?

It's safe to assume that they will try and get Ellen back and most likely she won't turn them down.  If she does turn the job down, my choices for host would be Emma Stone, Kristen Wiig or Louis CK.  Stephen Colbert will probably be too busy transitioning to his CBS gig.  And after his red carpet debacle this year, I would hope we can rule out Jimmy Kimmel.  And in the Dear God, NO!!! category, I'd put Kevin Spacey.  For some reason, people actually want him to do it?

I've accepted that Tina and Amy really don't want to do this and are happy and content in their jobs as Golden Globe ringmasters.  They've owned that position the past two years and have another year, though it'd be a safe guess that the Hollywood Foreign Press is probably trying to lock them in for a few more shows after that.

Thinking it over, let's get Pharrell Williams to host.
