Early word from test screenings is that this is not that good. In fact, some people said it was really bad. In terms of mainstream appeal, it's said to be closer to The Fountain than Black Swan. And Emma Watson was MVP. I remember back in the mid aughts, I was getting sick of seeing Russell Crowe in these roles, and this trailer brought those memories flooding (ahem!) back. Not helping is more shots of Jennifer Connelly staring off into the distance at...something. Interesting enough, this is being released in a similar slot that The Passion of the Christ occupied 10 years prior. I guess the studio is hoping for similar success, but this looks really bland and I'm hoping that is some rough CGI. Because that CGI was...rough. Anywho...
