Last weekend's random snowstorm and only two openers will lead to modest declines, particulary the kitty movie. This weekend is the offical start of the holiday movie season and looks to be pretty soft when compared to years gone by. That being said, it should be a pretty stellar moneymaking time with muppets, emo vampires, dragon tattoos and chipmunks. Hopefully, like last year, we'll see some of the awards contenders turn into blockbusters a la True Grit, Black Swan, The Fighter and The King's Speech.
