BFCA & AFI, Black Swan Soars

I guess swans don't soar, though? Swan Glides Gracefully, perhaps. Between the box-office (which I maintain will die once it hits wide release) and these mentions, its the IT movie right now.

The Kids Are All Right, meanwhile, is losing steam. No major critics awards thus far and missing BFCA top 10 isn't promising. However, this will be an up and down week for many contenders. With major announcements daily, we'll have to wait till the smoke clears to see what is still hanging on.

(oh, when these were announced, the BFCA put on their website a picture of Destiny's Child's Michelle Williams instead of Dawson's Creek's Michelle - good job guys)

(oh#2 - i'd like to say i called Noomi Rapace back in August - so boo yah!)
