Only "voting" in categories where I've seen all the nominees. That means I'm missing Original Song. I doubt I'll ever see Tell It Like a Woman. I'd love to finally watch RRR, but is it even available anywhere in its original language? I know Netflix has a dubbed version, but it's crazy a movie that high profile is not to be found.
Best Visual Effects: Avatar: The Way of Water
Best Sound: The Batman
If only for the batmobile sequence.
Best Original Score: The Banshees of Inisherin
Best Makeup and Hairstyling: The Batman
Best Production Design: Babylon
Best Costume Design: Mrs. Harris Goes To Paris
A case could be made for each of these, but I went with the most fashion dependent nominee.
Best Film Editing: Everything Everywhere All At Once
Best Cinematography: TÁR
This is a very weak lineup, but quite a few of this film's shots really stunned me.
Best Animated Feature: Marcel the Shell With Shoes On
Yet, I feel I shouldn't vote for it because it's only half or so animated.
Best Adapted Screenplay: Women Talking
Very weak category, but I'm rooting for Sarah.
Best Original Screenplay: The Banshees of Inisherin
Best Supporting Actor: Brian Tyree Henry - Causeway
Such a great actor, kind of a shame he didn't get more traction this year.
Best Supporting Actress: Kerry Condon - The Banshees of Inisherin
She can scream "You're all fecking boring!" at me any day.
Best Actor: Colin Farrell - The Banshees of Inisherin
I hope this is another Christian Bale/Mark Ruffalo situation where they finally nominated him, and they keep nominating him.
Best Actress: Michelle Yeoh - Everything Everywhere All At Once
Will no doubt be the most heart pounding moment of the night for me. I'm rooting for her more than anyone else.
Best Directing: Martin McDonagh - The Banshees of Inisherin
