Watch the 90th Oscars!

The 90th Academy Awards - The Oscars! - will be held Sunday March 4th on ABC at 8PM Eastern.

Eva Marie Saint practices her presenting skills.
That's a half hour earlier than usual, and only the second time I can remember it not starting at 8:30. ABC's official red carpet coverage will begin at 6:30PM, and the network will be doing some coverage earlier in the day. E!, of course, will also be covering the event. However, there's currently controversy over Ryan Seacrest's involvement and the network is standing by him. Some publicists have already stated their clients will ignore him. So that should be a fun trainwreck to watch.

Jimmy Kimmel returns as host for the second year in a row. The show will be produced by Jennifer Todd and Michael De Luca, who were the producers of last year's show. I thought they did a terrific job last year, but of course that show was made by the envelope mix-up that happened during the Best Picture presentation.

Emma Stone gets ready to distract the PW dude.
Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway will get a chance to get it right this time, as they will return to the scene of the crime to present Best Picture. Additional presenters include Mahershala Ali, Emily Blunt, Chadwick Boseman, Sandra Bullock, Dave Chappelle, Viola Davis, Eugenio Derbez, Laura Dern, Ansel Elgort, Jane Fonda, Jodie Foster, Gal Gadot, Jennifer Garner, Greta Gerwig, Eiza Gonzalez, Tiffany Haddish, Mark Hamill, Armie Hammer, Salma Hayek Pinault, Taraji P. Henson, Tom Holland, Oscar Isaac, Ashley Judd, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lawrence, Matthew McConaughey, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Helen Mirren, Rita Moreno, Kumail Nanjiani, Lupita Nyong'o, Margot Robbie, Gina Rodriguez, Maya Rudolph, Eva Marie Saint, Annabella Sciorra, Emma Stone, Wes Studi, Kelly Marie Tran, Daniela Vega, Christopher Walken and Zendaya.

Performing the nominated songs will be Andra Day and Common, Mary J. Blige, Keala Settle, Sufjan Stevens and St. Vincent, and Miguel with Gael Garcia Bernal and Natalia LaFourcade.

Casey Affleck announced a month or two ago he would not return to present, as his presence would be a distraction and source of outrage in the new era of Hollywood.

Since this is the 90th show, it's already rumored to be a long one. Expect clips and montages galore!

Enjoy the Oscars, everybody!

Jane Fonda and Helen Mirren look great against the icy blue background.
Baby Driver co-stars Eiza Gonzalez and Ansel Elgort. Kinda hope he wears that to the ceremony.
Sandra Bullock gets ready to steal the show.
