A pretty fun, irreverent ceremony. As usual. Kroll and Mulaney once again hit it out of the park. The Frances McDormand joke, in particular, killed. But Kristen Wiig completely stole the show. I wish that kind of bit would be on the Oscars, though I'm not sure Elizabeth Olsen got it. Timothee's speech was really fun and I loved his shout-out to the next generation of actors and filmmakers. But I also think he was high. Salma's "shithole" burn was terrific. Wasn't a big fan of Dee's speech, eloquent as it was. Way too long, and I don't think you'd find many arguments in that room against Netflix. The room seemed very lively. Hopefully, that translates to tomorrow night.
