I would just like to say I totally called this right after the Oscars. I have no problem with this, and it was greeted more with a sigh of relief from me than anything.
Ellen Degeneres is hosting the Oscars.
This will be her second time hosting, previously MCing the 79th Academy Awards show. She did a mostly good job, but I think that show was largely panned because of its length. (I enjoyed it!) I'm so happy she is getting a second chance (not sure if that's really the appropriate word) and it's nice to have someone return after however many years of a different host.
