Okay show. Nice to hear some swearing at these things. None of the clips were bleeped and some people swore on the stage. Bell was meh, but this ceremony used to be just 2 hours on basic cable, now it's 2.5 on streaming with only five or so two minute commercial breaks. The intros and banter were way too long. The show definitely feels bigger than when it was on TNT/TBS. I'm not sure I like the show doing all the TV awards, then all the film awards. I couldn't recall what project Woody Harrelson did with Harrison Ford and it was bothering me. Apparently, there wasn't one? Great reactions to Sinners, Jordan, and Madigan. Standing ovations for all! I guess Buckley and Penn appear to be the only locks for the Oscar. Buckley's shoutout to Emily Watson in Breaking the Waves probably made her some fans. Loved seeing Wiig and Byrne together in the audience. Nice tribute to Catherine O'Hara from Rogen. That In Memoriam was brutal.
