Once again, congrats to those 4 leads!
So Conclave does very well at BAFTA, Anora did well with the American guilds (so far), and the Globes went for Brutalist and Emilia. Picture feels like it might be up for grabs. SAG next week, which will probably help clear up Actress. There's a definite 'spread the wealth' feel for this year, especially with very little getting across the board passion.
Edward Berger has directed two BAFTA Best Film winners now. Crazy. Still no Oscar nom for him.
As for the ceremony, it was fine. Andy Tenant probably needs replaced. Simon Pegg was very funny and should get a shot at hosting these if he even wants to. Great speeches by Warwick Davis and David Jonsson. Cue annual complaint about these not being streamed live.
