These will be announced on Monday morning. CBS has picked up the show for this year, I suspect mostly because they need something to show given the strike delayed the starts of their scripted stuff. The Globes have remained relatively controversy-free over the past year, so maybe they'll get a full roster to attend. Last year, I think about 20% or so of the nominees didn't attend. They've also added 2 more categories for this year - a Popular Film one, and a standup special one. This was after adding 2 categories to last year's show - more supporting for television. And there will be 6 nominees per category, except for the Popular one which will have 8. This is all a bit much, but the Globes are mostly about a fun ceremony. Or should be.
Just doing the Film side again because TV is a giant headache to me.
Original Song:
"Dance the Night" - Barbie

"Can't Catch Me Now" - The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes
"Road To Freedom" - Rustin
"A World of Our Own" - Wonka
alt: "I'm Just Ken" - Barbie
I actually have no idea if they have a rule about multiple songs from the same film getting in.
Original Score:
Elemental - The Killer - Killers of the Flower Moon - Oppenheimer - Poor Things - The Zone of Interest
alt: Society of the Snow
Animated Film:
The Boy and the Heron - Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget - Elemental - Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - The Super Mario Bros. Movie - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

alt: Monster
Screenplay:
American Fiction - Barbie - The Holdovers - Killers of the Flower Moon - Oppenheimer - Poor Things

I'm not sold on Barbie making this, especially if Gerwig gets in Director. Past Lives certainly has a shot. May December might be peaking at the right time, too.
Supporting Actor:
Willem Dafoe - Poor Things
Robert De Niro - Killers of the Flower Moon
Robert Downey Jr - Oppenheimer
Ryan Gosling - Barbie
Charles Melton - May December
Mark Ruffalo - Poor Things
alt: Sterling K. Brown - American Fiction
I suspect Colman gets in Lead for his other film instead of Color Purple. Peter Sasgaard is also a possibility. Dominic Sessa would show how strong Holdovers is, even though he should be in Lead.
Supporting Actress:
Emily Blunt - Oppenheimer
Danielle Brooks - The Color Purple
Jodie Foster - Nyad
Taraji P. Henson - The Color Purple
Julianne Moore - May December
Da'vine Joy Randolph - The Holdovers
alt: Penelope Cruz - Ferrari
Or America Ferrera.
Lead Actor - Comedy/Musical:
Nicolas Cage - Dream Scenario
Timothee Chalamet - Wonka
Matt Damon - Air
Jamie Foxx - The Burial
Paul Giamatti - The Holdovers
Jeffrey Wright - American Fiction
alt: Gael Garcia Bernal - Cassandro
Sessa could surprise here.
Lead Actress - Comedy/Musical:
Fantasia Barrino - The Color Purple
Jennifer Lawrence - No Hard Feelings
Julia Louis-Dreyfus - You Hurt My Feelings
Natalie Portman - May December
Margot Robbie - Barbie
Emma Stone - Poor Things
alt: Hailee Bailey - The Little Mermaid
Lead Actor - Drama:
Bradley Cooper - Maestro
Leonardo DiCaprio - Killers of the Flower Moon
Colman Domingo - Rustin
Zac Efron - The Iron Claw
Cillian Murphy - Oppenheimer
Andrew Scott - All Of Us Strangers
alt: Teo Yoo - Past Lives
Those 6 are probably it.
Lead Actress - Drama:
Annette Bening - Nyad
Lily Gladstone - Killers of the Flower Moon
Sandra Huller - Anatomy of a Fall
Greta Lee - Past Lives
Carey Mulligan - Maestro
Cailee Spaeny - Priscilla
alt: Teyana Taylor - A Thousand and One
I'd die if Teyana happened!
Director:
Bradley Cooper - Maestro
Greta Gerwig - Barbie
Yorgos Lanthimos - Poor Things
Christopher Nolan - Oppenheimer
Alexander Payne - The Holdovers
Martin Scorsese - Killers of the Flower Moon

Or Todd Haynes or Justine Triet.
Motion Picture - Comedy/Musical:
American Fiction
Barbie
The Color Purple
The Holdovers
May December
Poor Things
alt: ...Wonka? I guess
Everyone is predicting those 6. And that's an unusually strong lineup.
Motion Picture - Drama:
Anatomy of a Fall
Killers of the Flower Moon
Maestro
Oppenheimer
Past Lives
The Zone of Interest
alt: The Iron Claw
Tally:
Barbie - 7
Killers of the Flower Moon - 7
Oppenheimer - 7
Poor Things - 7
The Color Purple - 5
The Holdovers - 5
Maestro - 4
May December - 4
