SAG Reax

Woah, lots of interesting things.

Oh, and that announcement was a fucking disaster. Instagram Live, really!?!?!?!? Spending 5 minutes watching Daveed Diggs search for Lily Collins sounds like a bad hipster indie dramedy, not how an award announcement should start. Between yesterday's mis-pronounced names and second set of nominees being jettisoned to a half hour later, award season is off to a low start. And did I mention the SAG ceremony will now only be an hour special on Easter Sunday?

Jesus Fucking Christ, what are people thinking with that Jared Leto stuff? I haven't seen the film but he was panned across the board. How did SAG and Globes line up on this?

Amanda Seyfried and Delroy Lindo snubbed - the big ones of the morning. The latter seemed like a lock after the Globe shutout. That's rough.

Of course SAG liked Hillbilly Elegy. Of fucking course.

Minari is the big winner of the morning.

As for TV, at least Michaela Coel got nominated so the SAG Awards won't suffer the internet's wrath.

I never put too much thought in what SAG's TV noms end up being.

My overall score has been better 3 times. 19/25 is about average for film. I've never gone higher than 21/25.
