That's the best I've ever done in TV. 2nd best for overall score. I did better in film 4ish times, tying one. 

There is definitely craziness here. I've said before but I always like SAG noms after Globe noms because they bring things down to earth a bit. 

The best news is 3 women in Director. Amazing!

Double noms for Anya! I called her being a big star right after seeing The Witch. 

The worst news is the overall whiteness of the TV nominations, and the black-led films not getting into the major Film categories. Da 5 Bloods was completely shut out, which is a huge surprise given Spike Lee's children are the Globe ambassadors. There were rumors they did not like it. 

NO MERYL!?!?!? Was this the first time Meryl was snubbed by the Globes? And some were predicting double noms for her. Yeesh. (But James Corden LOL) Despite not being a fan of the film, I thought that was Meryl's best performance in a good while. 

Ugh, Jared Leto?!?!?! Really???

There was some buzz they liked Sia's movie, but they gave it 2 noms then not in Song? 

As for TV, I'm happy Jane Levy got a major nomination. She's been a fave of mine for almost a decade and I've been waiting for her to have a breakthrough, despite a few hit movies under her belt. I don't think too much about the TV noms because while they are much more open to new things than other awards bodies, most of the noms are forgotten a few days after the ceremony. Go back and look at some of the crazy shit they nominated over the years. A lot of it was stuff that was instantly forgotten or cancelled within a year/a few months.
