As usual, a breezy show with some memorable moments. Aubrey Plaza returned as host and killed it once again. The best part was the LA Gay Men's Chorus. They sang a tribute to the "gay moments" in 2019's releases that turned into an exclusive tribute to Laura Dern. It was fucking hilarious. The Safdie Brothers and Adam Sandler's speeches were two for the ages. The relaxed atmosphere of this show offers a great counter to the nerves and seriousness of the Oscars.

And I'm so happy Zhao won! Too bad she couldn't have been there.

Plaza's best bit: "Jennifer Lopez is here. You just performed at the Super Bowl last weekend. What did you do, Mary Kay Place? You lazy sack of s—! Just kidding, you’re a national treasure."
