Sonic did great business last weekend, and gave its studio a much needed hit. Two wide releases this weekend, plus a Impractical Jokers movie. I'm not sure how many theaters that is getting, nor am I sure it has the following to even deserve a wide release? Call of the Wild should do fine, despite being another dog movie. (Maybe Cats will help people remember how much they love dogs?) The long delayed follow-up to 2016's sleeper The Boy finally opens. Another horror film that will struggle. Save us, Invisible Man and Quiet Place 2! A big story from last weekend was Parasite doing nearly $6m for the 3-day despite being available for home viewing. It'll probably fall a lot this weekend as those Oscar win bumps are usually short lived. It should finish with a total in the mid to high 50's, enough to make it the 3rd highest grossing foreign film.
