Box: Dunkirk 2

1. 1917 - $29m
This has earned just under $3m in limited so far. That's a very impressive number for only 11 theaters. With the Globe wins, it's going into the weekend strong.

2. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker - $16.5m
It ended up being very frontloaded. This weekend's tally will put it about $480m. A finish of about $525m looks right. Disappointing, overall.

**Jumanji: The Next Level - $16.5m
While it won't hit the domestic gross of the previous entry, it should still hit $300m. After this weekend, it'll be at $260m.

4. Like a Boss - $12m
This will be helped by the lack of comedies in the market right now.

5. Just Mercy - $10m
Buzz for this seems to have died, but it could still catch on with audiences. It's made just around half a million in 4 theaters since Christmas. Solid, but not quite spectacular.

6. Little Women - $8.5m
That number will put it right about $75m, which is about where I expected it to finish. With a decent nomination tally on Monday, $100m looks within reach. A big win for the studio!

7. Frozen 2 - $7.5m
Well, it passed the original domestically. With a gross over $460m after this weekend, it can add another $20-25m by the end of its run.

8. Underwater - $7m
While I'm looking forward to this, it's probably not breaking out of single digits.

9. Spies In Disguise - $6.5m
I guess it's lucky most of the bomb talk happened to Cats. Domestic total will be in the mid 50's after this weekend, and a final gross of just under $70m looks right. The budget is $100m, and it's looking like a non-starter overseas.

10. Knives Out - $5m
The ensemble mystery got a huge second wind over Christmas. It'll be just under $140m, so the big question will be if it can get to $150m. That'll make it the second highest grossing original film of 2019.

**The Grudge - $4.5m
It got an F from Cinemascore. That's always fun! Hard to believe the Sarah Michelle Gellar remake opened with $40m in 2004. This will just barely make over half that.

**Uncut Gems - $4m
This is going to be A24's highest grossing film. No one saw that coming. It'll hit $50m, but not much more. Another win for original films and for Adam Sandler.

**Bombshell - $2.5m
That number brings it to just under $30m. It'll hit around $35m, which is fine.
