Box: Later, alligator!

1. Spider-Man: Far From Home - $43m / $272m / $360m
2. Toy Story 4 - $20m / $345m / $400m
3. Crawl - $14m / $14m / $36m
4. Stuber - $9m / $9m / $26m
5. Yesterday - $7m / $48m / $65m
6. Aladdin - $5.5m / $331m / $345m
7. Annabelle Comes Home - $5m / $60m / $72m
8. Secret Life of Pets 2 - $3.5m / $147m / $154m
9. Midsommar - $3m / $17.5m / $23m
10. MIB International - $2m / $76m / $80m

Initially I thought Crawl had sleeper potential, but it's not being screened for critics and buzz seems very light. Stuber's reviews are mediocre and, as previously stated many times this summer, comedies are struggling. This weekend looks to be the quiet before the King arrives next weekend. In limited, the hugely acclaimed The Farewell opens. Hopefully it has a good run and maybe even crosses over to mainstream success.
