2. Alita: Battle Angel - $15m / $64m / $96m

6. What Men Want - $6m / $46m / $60m
7. Happy Death Day 2 U - $4.5m / $21m / $30m
8. The Upside - $3.5m / $100m / $108m
9. Cold Pursuit - $3m / $26.5m / $34m
**Green Book - $3m / $70.5m / $76m

Another Dragon installment opens. It's already done very well overseas, as the last sequel was a monster outside the US. Even if this performs only slightly higher than the LEGO 2, it will still be safe. Expanding wide after a solid performance last weekend in 4 theaters is Fighting With My Family. It'll probably open soft, have decent legs, then find it's audience in home viewing. Alita opened better than expected. With next weekend being empty, it's not outside the realm of possibility for it to cross $100m. I think too many people had it pegged as a bomb, and its overseas numbers look decent. There's also a movie opening called Run the Race. Haven't seen a theater count but I doubt it makes the top 10. Green Book will be the only Oscar contender in the top 10. It managed to almost double its gross since the nominations were announced. I have to wonder if Universal's strategy did pay off in the end. I mean, look at the fact that The Upside managed to do $100m. They really should have given it more of a push back around Thanksgiving. Still, a solid gross.
