The Grinch - The Incredibles 2 - Isle of Dogs - Ralph Breaks the Internet - Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
alt: Early Man

Song:
"All the Stars" - Black Panther
"Girl In the Movies" - Dumplin
"Trip a Little Light Fantastic" - Mary Poppins Returns
"Here Comes the Change" - On the Basis of Sex
"Shallow" - A Star Is Born
alt: "Revelation" - Boy Erased

Score:
Blackkklansman - Black Panther - First Man - If Beale Street Could Talk - Mary Poppins Returns
alt: Widows

Foreign Language Film:
Capernaum - Cold War - Happy as Lazzaro - Roma - Shoplifters
alt: Burning

Supporting Actor:
Mahershala Ali - Green Book
Timothee Chalamet - Beautiful Boy
Adam Driver - Blackkklansman
Sam Elliot - A Star Is Born
Richard E. Grant - Can You Ever Forgive Me?
alt: Michael B. Jordan - Black Panther
I'm not that confident in Timmy, but I don't think Jordan feels like a HFPA choice. There's also Nicholas Hoult as a surprise?

Supporting Actress:
Amy Adams - Vice
Nicole Kidman - Boy Erased
Regina King - If Beale Street Could Talk
Emma Stone - The Favourite
Rachel Weisz - The Favourite
alt: Claire Foy - First Man
Kidman's probably the weak link here, but she's likelier here than in leading for Destroyer. Michelle Yeoh might be able to break in if they really love Crazy Rich Asians. There's also Margot Robbie, who stands a better chance here than Saoirse does in her respective category.

Leading Actor - Comedy/Musical:
Christian Bale - Vice
Lin-Manuel Miranda - Mary Poppins Returns
Viggo Mortensen - Green Book
Robert Redford - The Old Man and the Gun
John C. Reilly - Stan and Ollie
alt: Ryan Reynolds - Deadpool 2
Or Nick Robinson, Henry Golding, Steve Coogan, Steve Carell, Paul Giamatti. I'm confident in everyone except Reilly and that slot could go many ways.

Leading Actress - Comedy/Musical:
Emily Blunt - Mary Poppins Returns
Olivia Colman - The Favourite
Elsie Fisher - Eighth Grade
Charlize Theron - Tully
Constance Wu - Crazy Rich Asians
alt: Kathryn Hahn - Private Life
Or maybe Lily James?

Leading Actor - Drama:
Bradley Cooper - A Star Is Born
Ryan Gosling - First Man
Ethan Hawke - First Reformed
Rami Malek - Bohemian Rhapsody
John David Washington - Blackkklansman
alt: Willem Dafoe - At Eternity's Gate
Or Hugh Jackman, Lucas Hedges, Steve Carell.

Leading Actress - Drama:
Yalitza Aparicio - Roma
Glenn Close - The Wife
Toni Collette - Hereditary
Lady Gaga - A Star Is Born
Melissa McCarthy - Can You Ever Forgive Me?
alt: Viola Davis - Widows
Or Natalie Portman, Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts? I'm not confident in anyone outside of Glenn, Gaga and Melissa.

Screenplay:
The Favourite - Green Book - If Beale Street Could Talk - A Star Is Born - Vice
alt: Can You Ever Forgive Me?
Or First Reformed, Eighth Grade, Blackklansman. Or even A Quiet Place.

Director:
Bradley Cooper - A Star Is Born
Alfonso Cuaron - Roma
Barry Jenkins - If Beale Street Could Talk
Yorgos Lathimos - The Favourite
Spike Lee - Blackkklansman
alt: Rob Marshall - Mary Poppins Returns
As Natalie would say "And the all male nominees are..."

Picture - Comedy/Musical:
Crazy Rich Asians - The Favourite - Green Book - Mary Poppins Returns - Vice
alt: Eighth Grade
Anything else would be a massive surprise.

Picture - Drama:
Blackkklansman - Black Panther - First Man - If Beale Street Could Talke - A Star Is Born
alt: Bohemian Rhapsody
Okay, apparently Bohemian went over really well with them. Still, it would be one of the worst reviewed movies to ever make it in this slot. Not sitting well with First Man, but the other options just don't seem strong enough.

See you in the morning!
