6 films go wide this weekend. Outside of Patriot's Day, most won't hit 8 figures. Patriot's Day should do fine, probably less overall than Deepwater Horizon. Luckily, this film doesn't have that film's huge budget. Live By Night has done awful in limited, but is the type of film that recovers when it goes wide. Still, it's probably going nowhere. Poor Ben! Monster Trucks is already expected to take a massive write down. The Bye Bye Man is the first in a long line of horror movies coming in the next couple of months and it'll probably be long gone from theaters in a few weeks. Sleepless is that rare movie I haven't seen a single ad for. I honestly have no idea what the storyline is. Might have to check the trailer. Silence goes into 750ish theaters and has been struggling in limited. Without Leo, Marty's movies really struggle. Hidden Figures was #1 last weekend and with a winter storm limiting some moviegoers last weekend, drops might be decent this weekend.
