STUNT ENSEMBLE OF A TELEVISION SERIES: GAME OF THRONES

Hey, these were actually really good! The best we can hope from a typically very sedate show. Lots of standing ovations, lots of impassioned speeches and lots and lots of politics.

Random Thoughts:
+Those stunt awards weren't mentioned on the show. Hmm, they should change that.
+On the red carpet, strangely enough, only Sofia Vergara mentioned anything politically related. Everyone else seemed really happy to be there. Lots of women wearing black and lots of women were pants. Nice!
+The show ran longer than usual. They seemed to have actual clips this year. Clips at this show are usually pretty short.
+Winona Ryder may have won the night. David Harbour's speech was epic, but I think people really wanted the kids to speak.
+Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton. It doesn't get better than that. (Well, if Jane Fonda had been there...)
+All the film winners got standing ovations. This usually isn't a standing ovationy audience. I'll say this again and again, it really helps an award show when the audience is into and tonight they were INTO it.
+The Suburu (I think?) ads with the dogs that ran throughout the breaks were hilarious.
