The last true blockbuster of the summer arrives (though it's looking like Pete's Dragon might end up a leggy hit) and Suicide Squad has really bad reviews. Man, what a lackluster summer! Squad will only get a better multiplier than the similarly dismally received Batman Vs Superman because of summer weekdays. Nine Lives also opens. It looks like the type of movie that would be in the background of a Seinfeld episode. Last week, the three openers did quite well and if word of mouth is strong enough, Bad Moms might have an outside shot at $100m.
