The Oscar-nominated songs will be performed by...

"Everything Is Awesome" from The Lego Movie will be performed by Tegan and Sara with The Lonely Island.
"Glory" from Selma will be performed by John Legend and Common.
"Grateful" from Beyond the Lights will be performed by Rita Ora.
"I'm Not Gonna Miss You" from Glen Campbell...I'll Be Me will be performed by Tim McGraw.
"Lost Stars" from Begin Again will be performed by Adam Levine.

Also, Jack Black will be performing something. This sounds like it could be awful, but the last two times Jack sang on the Oscars it was actually one of the highlights.

Apparently there are people out there that actually thought Keira Knightley was going to perform the Begin Again song. I think we had a better chance of Glen Campbell performing than that happening. This is a stellar roster, and for the second year in a row the Academy lucked out with its choices. I think "Glory" will ultimately prevail here, but there's obviously a lot of sentiment for "I'm Not Gonna Miss You." Personally, it should be between "Everything Is Awesome" and "Lost Stars". I do wonder why they only chose to submit "Lost Stars" when several of the other songs in Begin Again are just as good if not better. If you haven't seen that film, do so soon. Really wonderful little crowdpleaser.
