Box: It would be really funny if they ran in to George Clooney while up there.

1. Interstellar - $65m / $74m / $250m
2. Big Hero 6 - $53m / $53m / $200m
3. Nightcrawler - $5.5m / $20m / $32m
4. Fury - $5m / $69m / $79m
**Gone Girl - $5m / $144m / $160m
**Ouija - $5m / $43m / $52m
7. Book of Life - $4.5m / $47.5m / $59m
**St. Vincent - $4.5m / $26.5m / $40m
9. Birdman - $4m / $9.5m / $35m
**John Wick - $4m / $35m / $45m

October was a record breaker thanks in part to Gone Girl. After a lackluster midsection, maybe the year will finish strong. Interstellar and Big Hero 6 kick off the holiday movie season in a big way, as both will easily cross $50m in their debuts. Ouija just barely held on to the #1 spot last weekend (estimates had Nightcrawler at #1), but one of the most noteworthy happenings in the top 10 was St. Vincent's very small drop. I'm not certain how many theaters Birdman will be in this week, but it'll likely make the top 10. The Theory of Everything opens in 5 theaters this weekend with hopes of a  prosperous award season run.
