A month ago I would have said Lone Survivor is a safe bet for $20m+.  Giving it the Zero Dark Thirty and Black Hawk Down slot was a good idea, but it doesn't have the acclaim those two had.  Plus, it looks really bland.  I guess it could do similar numbers to Act of Valor, and Mark Wahlberg is still a strong bet.  There's just more products (and better ones!) out there for adults.  Legend of Hercules - LOL.  How did this get a $70m budget?  Why do studios just shit away money like that?  It's distubing to think of the projects that might have been turned down in favor of wasting that money on that film.  Ugh, it's the Conan remake all over again.  August: Osage County is hitting 800+ theaters, and it will take the drawing power of Streep and Roberts to sell it.  Her goes wide and has a strong ad campaign behind it, so it should do okay.  Llewyn Davis and Nebraska both hit 500+ theaters.  Davis has shown strong numbers over the holidays, so it should do okay.  Nebraska pittered out pretty fast and a character driven black and white dramedy probably won't pack them in at the multiplex.  Even with an Oscar push and a win for Dern, it'll still have trouble getting anything higher than the teens.
