This trailer may be one of the best to come along in quite some time. It's intense. It's gorgeous. It's perfectly edited. It's thrilling. It's terrifying. It shows off the impressive cast. It shows off the even more impressive visual effects. Most importantly, these two and a half minutes are far better than the entire 1998 film. Monsters director Gareth Edwards was so perfectly suited for this remaked, which stars Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Here's hoping it's more in the vein of Nolan's blockbusters and this isn't another Man of Steel case of great advertising/mediocre product.
