Box: The 90's Remakes Arrive

Basic Instinct, Candyman, The Bodyguard and every John Grisham adaptation in due time, I assume.

1. The Dark Knight Rises - $28.5m / $347.5m / $430m
2. Total Recall - $25m / $25m / $74m
3. Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3 - $18m / $18m / $50m
4. Ice Age 4 - $7.5m / $131m / $150m
5. The Watch - $6m / $25.5m / $39m
6. Step Up 4 - $6m / $24m / $38m
7. Ted - $5m / $203m / $218m
8. The Amazing Spider-Man - $3.5m / $250m / $260m
9. Brave - $2.5m / $223m / $230m
10. Magic Mike - $1.5m / $111m / $115m

The Wimpy Kid movies are strangely frontloaded for family-aimed films.  Given families make up the majority of the "I'm Not Going to the Movies Cuz I Might Get Shot!" movement, this spells trouble for the third installment.  Total Recall seemed to be a strong threat to end Batman's #1 run, but interest stalled a few weeks back.  I could see it going even lower.
