The Oscar Luncheon! Sadly, there were no real power areas, everyone is spread out. Kristen Wiig was not there, dang! But the Dean from Community was! The greatest thing this year's luncheon gave us was this hilarious picture:

+There will be no song performances. Not much of a surprise given there's only 2 nominees, but I'm one of the rare people still pro-song performances during the telecast.
+Milla Jovovich will host the Sci/Tech ceremony this Saturday. Usually, they choose a hot piece of ass ingenue to host this then introduce a segment on the show. She's a really really random choice? Did they draw names from a hat? I guess we can add her to the list of presenters...
+...that now includes Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz and the cast of Bridesmaids. No one from last year's acting winners has been announced yet, I wouldn't be surprised if Bale, well, bails.
