I doubt Beauty will match Lion King's $30m-opening, $90m-total reissue gross. If it does, we're going to be raiding the Disney vault every couple of months for the next several years. Contraband and Joyful Noise will make the typical January amounts. As for The Devil Inside, it really doesn't matter it got a F from Cinemascore or how fast it drops. In the end, the movie will make 60-70 million on a million dollar budget. Tinker Tailor overperformed last week and will add theatres this weekend, allowing it to finish with a modest gross in the 30's. The Iron Lady expands to around 700 theatres this weekend and should see a gross similar to Doubt. Its reviews aren't good enough to turn into The Queen or The King's Speech, but Weinstein should be happy.
