Box Office: I thought we were done with McConaughey

1. Battle: Los Angeles - $19m / $66m / $108m
2. Rango - $14.5m / $91.5m / $126m
3. Paul - $11m / $11m / $30m
4. The Lincoln Lawyer - $10m / $10m / $34m
5. Limitless $8m / $8m / $24m
6. Red Riding Hood - $7m / $26m / $40m
7. The Adjustment Bureau - $6.5m / $49.5m / $64m
8. Mars Needs Moms - $4m / $14.5m / $25m
9. Hall Pass - $3m / $40m / $46m
10. Gnomeo and Juliet - $2.5m / $94m / $100m

But apparently Lincoln Lawyer is actually good? Go figure. I originally thought Paul would do the least of these given Pegg & Frost's track record of high teens/low twenties grossers, but I think it looks the best of the three openers and I guess there hasn't been too many broad comedies of late (Hall Pass and Just Go With It both have shown decent legs). Despite also pulling in okay reviews, Limitless has a dumb plotline and will be a non-starter. I'm kinda happy Mars Needs Moms bombed as big as it did as it looked genuinely creepy. $150m budget, and it will only make about $25m. Awesome.
