PGA & WGA Predix

They announce Tuesday, kicking off 2011.

WGA:
As usual, numerous screenplays have been ruled ineligible. They include: Winter's Bone, The King's Speech, Toy Story 3 and Another Year.

127 Hours - Rabbit Hole - The Social Network - The Town - True Grit

This is the five everyone is predicting. Outside of Island, there really is no other alternative.

I'd say the first four are locked. The last spot will probably go to an indie (the aforementioned two, Get Low or Somewhere), or even Easy A. I went with the very deserving Holofcener because she deserves it.


PGA:
The question is how closely will these resemble Oscar's ten. Last year, they were only one off - PGA nominated Star Trek while the Oscar's chose The Blind Side. Looking back, its very surprising The Blind Side didn't show up here given how huge a success it was.
