EE RISING STAR AWARD: EMMA MACKEY
Definitely some surprises here and keeps the race interesting. It's fascinating how EEAAO has been the frontrunner since the start of the season, yet not enough to get the frontrunner backlash. It just loses the right stuff to avoid an over-performance. It seemed like Banshees might have been able to take this, but the war picture went over big.
I would have loved to have watched these on BritBox but for some reason if you subscribed to that streamer though another streamer (Prime Video, in my case) you couldn't watch it. And some of the people who did watch on BritBox had issues. Maybe it'll be added later, and I'll absolutely watch it. I'm really sick of this particular awards show making it difficult to watch. Last year, the streamer had issues and was delayed a few hours. When it aired on the BBC America, it was about 7 hours after it happened. (I think maybe only once did that network actually air it live, and it was back in the early 2000's.) I'm not sure why they just can't live stream it, and I do mean LIVE.
