These would have been pretty good overall, but that actress lineup leads a bitter taste. I think the issue is, as it has been, that voters simply don't prioritize films starring POC that aren't across the board contenders.
Curious if the Riseborough campaign will change anything. Will we see more of these grassroots/social media campaigns?
