I went 22/23!!!

Well, that certainly had some moments. I don't need to go over what everyone will take away from the show, and that all the other moments will probably be forgotten. CODA just broke a lot of stats, and history was thrown out the window.

As for the show, it felt like an improvement over last year which isn't saying much. However, at times, it felt like an impression of an Oscar telecast instead of a real one. And after editing 8 categories into the show, it still ran 3hrs 40mins. The two brightest moments came in the form of the hosts and the musical performances. I had a problem with my feed of the show: right before Kevin Costner announced Jane as the winner, it cut to a logo from my local channel, then came back as Jane was taking the stage. Also, the Oscars logo popped up several times during Will's speech/apology. Eek.

Back tomorrow/Tuesday with full wrap up of a show that is now viral for all the wrong reasons.
