17/25 = 68%

I honestly think that may be one of my best scores for these. The big surprise is Kidman, who seemed like she was probably last in that category. There were rumors that Amazon was one of the few majors to campaign a bit toward the HFPA, so that might explain her win along with Underground Railroad

I have to wonder how much campaigning studios will do off these wins. Seeing what happened at the holiday box-office - with so many of the adult-aimed films performing poorly - is why I'm not totally convinced the industry will turn their back on the HFPA. The nominations can give the films bumps with ticket sales, and West Side Story could really use that now.
