Avengers was huge, just under $260m. Can it top Black Panther, though? Panther is still in the top 10 despite coming to home viewing in less than two weeks. Three movies open, kicking off the old official start of summer. Overboard should do okay, as Eugenio Derbez has done well with his other films. Tully opens in just 1200+ theaters, and I suspect will expand next weekend for Mother's Day. Lastly, Bad Samaritan gets the widest push of all the openers. The concept is intriguing, but with no star power it will struggle.
