El Spielbergo's newest won't have any trouble getting that #1 slot. The latest Tyler Perry film doesn't have Madea in it, so it's numbers will probably be similar to Taraji's last film, Proud Mary. Come on, Hollywood: give Taraji better films. God's Not Dead 3 also opens. The dropoff from the first film to the second one in that franchise was vicious. With competition from I Can Only Imagine, this one might have trouble getting into the double digits. Isle of Dogs is expanding to 150+ locations. It's numbers last weekend were huge.
