90th Oscars Set Host and Producers, Same as 89th!

Very smart move. I would have preferred Kate McKinnon to get the MC duty, but I doubt that happens as long as she is on NBC.

Jimmy Kimmel will return as host, while Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd will return as producers. De Luca and Todd did a lot of smart things as producers, from opening with Justin Timberlake, to the actors paying tribute to actors, to making sure every category had clips. The only request I have is to try and make the show a little more A-list. Kimmel will be the first host since Billy Crystal to host two years in a row.  That was twenty years ago. Despite the low ratings of this year's show, the Best Picture flub gained more media and social media coverage than the show has seen in years. That could set up next year's show with some solid ratings to see how it's addressed. Will Warren and Faye be brought back?

The 90th Academy Awards will air on Sunday March 4th on ABC.
