The 88th Academy Awards airs Sunday February 28th at 8:30PM Eastern on ABC. The network's official red carpet coverage kicks off at 7PM, and the E! network will be doing coverage for the majority of the day. So if you want to watch hours upon hours of a Kardashian guessing what Saoirse Ronan will be wearing, knock yourself out.

The 88th ceremony will be hosted by Chris Rock who previously hosted the 77th show. Hopefully, Chris will pull no punches in addressing the #OscarsSoWhite controversy and the backlash Hollywood has endured since the nominees were announced. There's no better man for the job.

Performing on the show will be Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, and Dave Grohl.

Vice President Joe Biden as well as J.J. Abrams, Patricia Arquette, Abraham Attah, Cate Blanchett, Emily Blunt, Chadwick Boseman, Steve Carell, Henry Cavill, Priyanka Chopra, Louis C.K., Sacha Baron Cohen, Common, Russell Crowe, Benicio Del Toro, Chris Evans, Tina Fey, Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Garner, Whoopi Goldberg, Ryan Gosling, Kevin Hart, Louis Gossett Jr., Kevin Hart, Quincy Jones, Michael B. Jordan, Byung-hun Lee, John Legend, Jared Leto, Rachel McAdams, Julianne Moore, Olivia Munn, Dev Patel, Eddie Redmayne, Daisy Ridley, Margot Robbie, Liev Schreiber, Jason Segel, Andy Serkis, Sarah Silverman, J.K. Simmons, Charlize Theron, Jacob Tremblay, Sofia Vergara, Kerry Washington, Olivia Wilde and Reese Witherspoon are scheduled to present.

Harley Quinn and The Joker (aka Margot Robbie and Jared Leto)
Given the controversy, it should be a memorable show. Whether that's a good or bad thing, we'll just have to wait and see.

Enjoy the show, everyone!

We shall be watching. Hopefully won't be blinded by all the white people :D Also it's pretty disturbing how they discriminated against minorities for the song performances too.

Yeah, it's very typical. That's what happens when the straight white man is in charge of the world!

Have a fun night!
