A pretty fun show. And like the SAGs, they really showed up the Oscars on the diversity front. Big time. Three acting winners being people of color, one of them a trans actress. How bout that! Good job, Spirit Awards. Kate McKinnon and Kumail Nanjiani were game hosts, and their parodies of Room and Carol were very amusing. McKinnon, who I adore on SNL, may have been a little too "on" during the monologue, but she settled in nicely afterwards. Another fun moment came when Cate Blanchett grabbed Rooney Mara's boob, allowing the latter to show the most personality she's probably ever shown in public.

I'll miss seeing Jacob Tremblay standing on chairs after this season. And, Hot Dad, of course!
